A group of dedicated Polish motorcycle speedway fans hired 18 cranes to watch their team compete over the stadium.
Despite the bans due to coronavirus, the loyal Motor Lublin fans developed a creative strategy in order to watch their team live. WP Sportowe Fakty reported that they rented 18 cranes to be able to watch the competition from high above the stadium.
Moreover, the fans could not get a ticket to watch the Motor Lublin because they were fast sold out. Then, they stood on the cranes in groups of two or three high above the ground.
In comparison, the stadium floodlight’s height is the same as the cranes’ height where the fans stood. The dedicated speedway fans who are known for their passion, lit flares late into the night as they watched.
Michal, a loyal speedway fan, says the experience was magical. He added that he does not know “any other event with a passion like that.”
Motor Lublin spoke about their fans’ creativity by showing appreciation for the love and support they demonstrated. They said, “We love our fans and can’t imagine possibilities without them…we are really happy they found a way to support us.”
